Vin Gupta, MD, MSt, MPA is a practicing pulmonologist who currently serves as Chief Medical Officer of Pharmacy and New Health Initiatives at Amazon. Prior to his role at Amazon, he supported the clinical team at Apple Health and has recently served as a senior medical advisor to Thermo Fisher Scientific, Mesa Biotech, the National Football League, and the Seattle Mariners. He is also affiliate faculty at the University of Washington’s Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation and Evans School and Commissioned Officer (O-4, Major) in the United States Air Force Medical Reserve Corps. Outside of these responsibilities, Dr. Gupta serves as medical analyst for NBC News.

Dr. Gupta received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University, Medical Doctorate from Columbia University’s Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, Masters in Public Administration from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and Master of Studies in International Relations from the University of Cambridge. He has active board certification in Internal Medicine, Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine and completed his clinical training at Brigham & Women’s Hospital.
