Rick is an Associate for Leavitt Equity Partners. In this role, Rick performs and assists with diligence, evaluations, and executions of investment opportunities. Additionally, he supports several portfolio companies and management teams.

Prior to Leavitt Equity Partners, Rick was a Director at Cougar Capital, an MBA-led venture capital and private equity fund, during business school where he led diligence on several investments including in aerospace defense and medical technology. Additionally, Rick worked as a Private Equity Intern with NorthRock Companies, a real estate investment fund focusing on multifamily properties. Prior to business school, Rick was a Chemical Engineer for Marathon Petroleum Corporation in their downstream fuels upgrading division in Long Beach, CA and Salt Lake City, UT.

Rick earned his MBA from the Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Utah.
